How to allow remote access to my computer

If you receive an invitation to allow remote access to your computer it will contain a link that looks like this:

https://justworks.rmmservice.com/connect/#/xxxxxxxxx

Once you complete the steps below our helpdesk will be able to assist you and remotely connect to your computer.

This is a temporary connection

Allowing Quick Connect does not permanently install a JustWorks agent on your computer. You can remove the Quick Connect app at any time. We will remove your device from our systems as soon as we have completed the work you are requesting.
JustWorks will not be able to access your computer again unless you accept a new invitation.

If your computer is going to be permanently managed by us then we will convert this temporary access into a fully managed agent.

Experience

  1. When you open the link from the invitation, you are prompted to confirm the remote session.
    • Before clicking Connect, make sure that the JustWorks logo is displayed in the confirmation box in your browser. 
  2. Click Connect to proceed.                        
    A download of the Quick Connect software installer is initiated. 
  3. Access your downloads and open the file.

  4. When installing the Quick Connect software, you may be alerted by your OS security features. In this example of a Windows device, select Run Anyway.
